Biography

Kelly Rohrbach serves as the Program Director for Central Methodist University's Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Her teaching responsibilities have included Foundations in Therapeutic Media and Design, Fundamentals and Practice in Adult Development and Physical Dysfunction as well as OT practice in Variety of settings and Professional skills and transitions. She performs administrative duties required for program accreditation and compliance, advises students in the program, and assesses curriculum effectiveness.

Prior to entering Occupational Therapy professional education Kelly practiced for 13 years in a variety of settings working mostly with the older population. She has experience working with multiple diagnoses such as, stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, orthopedic, hand therapy, and trauma. Kelly has experience in the ICU/Acute setting, rehab setting, skilled nursing and home health. She remains an active clinician and participant in wellness activities in the community.

Biography

Dawn Sublette serves as the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for Central Methodist University's Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Her responsibilities include the coordination and supervision of all fieldwork experiences for Level I and Level II students. Her teaching responsibilities have included Therapeutic Media and Design, Behavioral Health, and Fundamentals in Pediatrics. In addition, she is advising current OTA students through their professional degree and is excited to start her teaching career with the second cohort of Bachelor’s level students here at Central Methodist University.

Prior to beginning her teaching path in higher education, Dawn has over 30 years of experience in fieldwork supervision of OT/OTA students, long-term acute care, skilled nursing facilities, mental health and home health. The majority of her positions were in management with the opportunity to establish an inpatient rehab within the long-term acute care hospital which required extensive planning, knowledge, and compliance for accreditation. She also remains an active clinician with home health.
